Programs
Our programs follow the guidelines of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
In collaboration with local community groups in Chitral, Hunza, Gilgit, Yasin, Nomal, and Rahimabad, in northern areas of Pakistan, feasibility studies determined each community's needs and focus on four core social issues: education, infrastructure, economic development, and health care.
We work to
- support the education of children by providing tuition fees, school uniforms, school supplies, and hot lunches
- assist local communities develop effective, long-term infrastructure services
- encourage economic development and entrepreneurship amongst women through micro-lending initiatives
- help community members achieve healthier lifestyles by providing health care information on healthy nutrition, family planning, and hygiene
