Local Community Infrastructure

Programs

In partnership with local community groups, WEIF works progressively to help them build infrastructure. The concept and ideas are those of the local communities. We provide funding to the communities as long-term, low interesting bearing loans for technical support, equipment, and materials to build infrastructure. The repayment of the loans with the principal amount is repaid over a maximum period of ten (10) years. The repaid portions of the loans may be utilized for upgrades and upkeep of the infrastructure.

In the event of natural disaster, WEIF provides emergency assistance to the affected communities in the form of emergency relief funds to assist in rebuilding the damaged or lost infrastructure.
