Women's Health Care
Programs
In coordination with expatriate volunteers, local nurses and medical professionals, we assist local communities set up clinics where necessary information and primary care is made available to the poorest members of the community. We recruit volunteers from Canada and other developed countries who undertake short-term assignments (between 3 months and 12 months) to train local volunteers in the delivery of our programs and services. The recruitment of the expatriate volunteers is through its membership efforts and in collaboration with Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and/or other foundations that work in these regions.
All four elements identified as immediate and key elements for long-term community development are an integral part for successful community growth and have to work in unison.
