Yes We Can! 5K Run or Walk - May 2011 Yes We Can! 5K Fun Run or Walk is an annual Women's Empowerment International Foundation (WEIF) event held on a Sunday, May 8, 2011. The event drew hundreds of dedicated walkers who came out to walk the Walk to fight poverty. Our goal for 2011 is to raise more than $70,000! Click here to visit the Yes We Can! website.

Women Empowering Women through Fashion, Beauty and Wellness - October 2010 WEIF organized a very successful event that included a fashion show, tarot and palm reading, port tasting, food treats and wine. The event was sponsored by: Ackroyd Barristers & Solicitors, Aman Building Corporation, Black Fork Ventures Ltd., Hunter Concrete, Mayfield Toyota, Prime Staffing Services and Rileys Consulting Ltd.

	Yes We Can Make a Difference - August 2008 In August 2008, WEIF organized a 5km Fun Run and Walk Fundraiser at the Laurier Park.
	WEIF's Gala Fundraiser - November 2007 WEIF's representatives from Pakistan Dr. Moladad Shafa and Dr. Mir Afzal Tajik thanked the many donors for supporting WEIF's projects in their country. The evening was fun filled and very successful. Alberta's Premier, RT Hon. Ed Stelmach and Mrs. Stelmach were Guests of Honor at this function. 	Woody RV Red Deer Mararthon - May 2007 The theme was "21 kids - 21 kilometers" Run to make a difference
	Valentine's Gala Event - February 2007 In February 2007, WEIF's Board and volunteers organized a Valentine's Day Dinner & Dance at the Maharaja Banquet Hall.
	Great Human Race - May 2006 WEIF's Board of Directors would like to thank the many volunteers who participated in the Great Human Race organized by United Way Edmonton. This was WEIF's inaugural fundraising project and was a successful event.
