What will you sponsorship do?

Your monthly sponsorship of $36 will provide:

• a child's education including tuition fees, uniforms, school supplies, and hot meals
• local community infrastructure development including improved sanitation, construction of health care centers, and educational facilities
• economic development opportunities through the establishment of local lending circles
• basic health care programs including information on health, nutrition, family planning, and good hygiene practices

Your sponsorship will bring about long-term sustainable changes to these communities.

From the beginning of its work in the developing countries, WEIF has established very strict and stringent rules for the recipient organizations and individuals. Proper accounting of funds is strictly adhered to and any shortfalls are deducted from the agreed upon terms and conditions, and in some cases the agreement is terminated. This approach has meant that funds are appropriated for the use they were meant for.

WEIF plans on establishing Administrative offices for its Canadian operation upon approval of its application to CIDA for Voluntary Sector Funds.

All donations are tax deductible. 100% of your donations go directly to support our programs.

WEIF's audits for 2005 and 2006 were without any reservations and met all the CRA standards for Registered Charities. Visit www.cra-arc.gc.ca/charities to view our audited financial statements.
